CL-50 Glass Surface Preparation
CL-50 is the latest surface preparation technology to enable nano coatings to obtain superior adhesion and long-term performance on surfaces like automotive windscreens and shower screens.
CL-50 utilises semiconductor manufacturing technology to deliver a thorough cleaning down to the microstructured surface details of substrates. By enhancing the bonding capabilities of glass substrates to nano coatings, CL-50 effectively boosts the quantity of molecular bonding points. This meticulous cleaning process makes it the ideal surface preparation for nanotechnology treatments such as N-Bond UV Primer and NG-1010.
CL-50 removes contamination from glass surfaces. The micron-size particles have shown a high removal rate of glass-contaminating substances. The low level of chemicals and the use of mostly plant extracts give CL-50 an outstanding sustainable rating.
More than 99% of the chemicals used are from renewable sources and bio-based materials. The abrasives are widely used in food additives, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical products. CL-50 does not contain nano-particles. Particle size: 0.2 micron.
