Surface preparation and application

Prepare the glass before applying NG-1010. Nanovations recommends CL-50 Glass Surface Preparation to remove mineral deposits, soap scum, silicone residue and oils for coating adhesion. NG-1010 uses a spray and wipe-on application and cures at room temperature. Follow the product application instructions for your project.

Glass coating performance and durability

NG-1010 has been independently tested by the Glass Research Institute in Italy for UV exposure, salt spray, abrasion and acid resistance. Testing included 1,000 hours of UV radiation and 21 days of salt spray, with no loss of function or damage reported. The coating has also been tested to withstand 500,000 cleaning cycles.

Its inorganic monolayer forms a permanent bond with the glass substrate and resists standard window-cleaning tools, high-pressure washing, hot water and brushes.
