NG-1314 is a professional-grade nano glass coating that combines a durable hydrophobic “Easy to Clean” shield with an effective dust-reducing function. Designed for high-dust environments and photovoltaic systems, it reduces dust adhesion, repels water, and protects glass against erosion, salt spray, and mineral deposits.
NG-1314 creates nano-scale thin and functional layers instead of a thick film of non-stick chemicals. It has an extremely low consumption rate — up to 100 solar panels per litre — and the lowest cost per square metre of any product worldwide. In bulk volumes, this can be as little as $0.10/m².
Our products are manufactured in Australia. NG-1314 is the only carbon-neutral manufactured solar panel glass coating available. The product has been independently tested by the Glass Research Institute in Italy across UV radiation (1000 hours), salt spray (21 days), abrasion, and acid resistance testing — with no loss of function or damage reported.
NG-1314’s unique inorganic bonding system provides inherent UV protection and a hardness rating of up to 7 on the Mohs scale. The ultra-thin film conforms to the nano-scale topography of the surface, strengthening the glass without filling the surface structure.
